The structural biology research centers in Finland, located in five Universities, together form the Finnish Instruct-NAC. The expertise includes cryoEM, X-ray, mass spectroscopy, NMR, structural enzymology and protein production.
Instruct activities in Finland operate within the organization of Biocenter Finland structural biology network, the purpose of which is to promote and coordinate an integrated approach to structural biology in Finland, by the provision of access and user support to facilities for X-ray crystallography, protein production, NMR, electron microscopy and cryo-EM, enzymology, crystallization and membrane protein crystallization, proteomics, FTICR mass spectroscopy, bioinformatics, drug discovery and data tracking.
Participating Biocenter Finland organizations with Instruct are:
Biocenter Finland provides research services to the entire Finnish research community in both academia and industry. Biocenter Finland structural biology network is the national contact point to Instruct and will facilitate scientific exchange and technology transfer between national and European infrastructures and research groups.
Biocenter Finland strucrtural biology network will also support training in approaches to integrative structural biology by the organization of workshops and practical courses. For more information visit the Biocenter Finland structural biology network Instruct page.
